Radhe opened in Overseas today with first numbers coming in from Australia and the response is around 40% down from the last Salman Khan Eid release Bharat in 2019. Bharat had collected around 110k plus on its opening day and Radhe has opened around 40% less so the first day figures in Australia may well be in 60-70k range.

Australian market is in a good condition as regarding the covid19 situation so these are probably so so numbers. The problem is always expectations as there have been numbers of $3m and even $4m opening weekend in Overseas going around in the industry since Monday and its not realistic to have such expectations. No doubt people are dumb and clueless to have these sort of expectations as these sort numbers are top end and you are hoping for a Blockbuster in Gulf.  In Hollywood its the opposite and its kept it check which allows films to go above the expectations.

The last Salman Khan Dabanng 3 opened at $4m while Bharat opened at $6.25m on Eid 2019 with phenomenal numebrs from Gulf and both films released in normal times and Radhe is releasing in far lesser markets and screens. Going by this a realistic target would be around $2 million and that is depending on whether asian families go out to cinemas in Gulf. If they not ready to come out then $2 million would go out of the window as well. The results from Gulf will tell what the film can do over the initial weekend.
