Master collected around 104 crore nett over its extended five day weekend which is a huge total even if their were no covid19 rules. The film has done phenomenal business in Tamil Nadu and is very good in other circuits of South India.
The poor performance is in Hindi but that was expected. The Tamil versions in Hindi markets has performed like most of these films did pre covid. Overall the hindi markets saw around 3.50 crore nett in all formats. The first three days saw close to 70 crore nett across India which is the biggest three day weekend total in India since Dabangg 3 in December 2019 but this is post covid19. It is ahead of films like Darbar, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior which were the biggest openers in early 2020 when things were normal..
The film posted a huge $4.75m in Overseas and this came with a very limited USA release and no Malaysia which are the best markets for Tamil films.
