Dream Girl did fantastic business in its first weekend of around 43.50 crore nett driven by the markets of Delhi / UP and East Punjab which recorded excellent numbers. Delhi / UP hit 5 crore nett on Sunday and East Punjab crossed 2 crore nett mark and these are numbers that very few films have managed to hit on the Sunday this year.

The rest of the country also saw good numbers with the weak spots being Nizam / andhra and Gujarat / Saurashtra though the latter may be strong in the long run like Chhichhore which has done better in the second weekend in the Gujarat area. 

The weekend collections are 8.50 crore nett more than last weeks Chhichhore and if this sort of gap remains at the end of the week then this film will also be a SUPER HIT film. The collections of Dream Girl for the first weekend are as follows.
