Kabir Singh had an excellent third weekend of 9.50 crore nett though the Sunday growth did not come but this was the the films playing. It could be due to huge sporting occasions on television or that the Saturday growth was generally very big though not for Kabir Singh as its the only film which is good in mass and they dont shoot up on Saturday. The limited Sunday growth also meant it did not beat the fourth weeknd numbers of films like Dangal and 3 Idiots. The drop from last week is around 55% which is similar to the trend in week three.
The film now stands at over 256 crore nett and it will probably have to settle for a final score between 270-275 crore nett. This will be a little short of Padmaavat at 282 crore nett which is the highest grosser for Shahid Kapoor but the footfalls after the fourth weekend are more than Padmaavat meaning more people have watched in the theatres.
The footfalls of this film will in the range of films like Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg which sort of gives an idea as to how big this film compared to others in history. The collections of Kabir Singh till date are as follows.
