Shadaa continued its record breaking run on day two with growth of around 20%. East Punjab opened to very strong collections so major growth there was going to be difficult but the rest of India was up by 50%. East Punjab improved by around 10%. 

The second day collections were 3.05 crore nett which is only the second time a Punjabi film has collected over 3 crore nett. The first time was Carry On Jatta 2 which did ot on a Sunday while Shadaa has done it on a Saturday. The two day numbers are 5.65 crore nett and this is record pace.

Shaada is going to be one of the biggest ever grossers of Punjabi cinema and its just about whether it goes on and becomes the biggest ever. The collections of Shaada till date are as follows.

Friday - 2,60,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 3,05,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 5,65,00,000 apprx

The film has shown that 3 crore nett non holiday opening is possible for a Punjabi film as this film would have achieved that mark if there is not a big Hindi winner like Kabir Singh for competition. The one crore nett opening came in 2013 and the first 2 crore nett opening came in 2015 and now finally the 3 crore nett opening looks a possibility.
