Hitchki showed a good trend over the weekend as it grossed around 15 crore nett. The collections are nothing much but for these films its about staying in the race over the weekend. The film could have easily done just 10 crore nett or even under and it would have been over for the film.

The Saturday growth was 60% and there is always a chance with these type of films that this sort of growth can come on Saturday but the Sunday growth of 20-25% was apprx is solid for this type of film and it could be that it has appreciation among the family audience in the bigger cities. But it was also Ram Navmi on Sunday so the it could have been a little better for business than a normal Sunday 

The first weekend collections of Hichki are as follows

Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 5,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 6,50,00,000 apprx

Total - 15,00,00,000 apprx

The collections are a good 25% higher than Tumhari Sulu and a little higher than Mardaani (14.44 crore) in terms of NETT collections although GROSS is a little lower. So in real terms the weekend is less than Mardaani. The weekend has kept the film in with a chance and the test will come in the weekdays which will decide if there is appreciation for the film to emerge a success or even a HIT.
