Set during the 17th century, the Mughals were planning to capture the Kondhana fortress as the capital of South India and extend their empire. The Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj orders his loyal general Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana and protect Southern India from the Mughal invasion.
While the Mughal emperor sends his trusted commander Uday Bhan to defend the fortress, the battle for the control of the fortress which decided the fate of Southern India it was popularly known as the Battle of Sinhagad.
