Commando 2 (Hindi) had a low first week grossing 21 crore nett and more than the low week it was the trend and limited appreciation which is the problem for the film. The film was always going to struggle at multiplexes and has very few screenings in week two but the bigger problem was single screens as a film of this level can be taken through by single screens but they were not good enough as the action was not supported by a story and emotions. The film will hardly collect in week two due to low occupancy in week one and two big releases this week. Also the business of Commando 2 will hardly be 10-15% better than Commando (2013) which itself did not fare well but at least the costs were 10-12 crore lower

There were two other Hindi releases last week Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai and Luv Shv Pyar Vyar and both fared very poorly The latter had negligible collections while the former grossed 25 lakhs nett in week one. This film also had an Overseas release and grossed $15k in the first week. It is bad enough Commando 2 getting and Overseas release as the P & A (Prints & Advertisement) can't be covered but here the P (Prints) can't even be recovered.

Hollywood release Logan did fair business as it grossed 24 crore nett in its first week. The film will be an AVERAGE fair if it can maintain a little in the second week. The top Hollywood grosser this year is XXX - Return Of Xander Cage but it was a poor performer with 35 crore nett as it had higher expectations from the the Indian market.
