Thappad managed to show better collections on Monday than Friday as it probably got the benefit of evening shows being stronger in the metros as its a holiday for Holi on Tuesday. The film collected around 1 crore nett on Monday which takes the film to 26.75 crore nett after 11 days.Holi .

The film could now get close to the 30 crore nett mark before the end of the week if it can get the Holi benefit over the next few days and has a chance of crossing the business of Chhapaak which finished with 32.54 crore nett though that would hardly change the fate of the film. It has done better than Panga and Saand Ki Aankh but that is not really a tough task. The collections of Thappad till date are as follows.
