Mardaani 2 has held well on Monday collecting around 3 crore nett which is a 25% drop from the first day. The hold could have been better but there were protests in Delhi which led to areas being evacuated in the city. this has taken the total of the film to a decent 21 crore nett and the week can close at 29 crore nett.

Despite the hold the film will probably face a bigger drop in week two due to the release of Dabangg 3. The film would have had a much better if such a big film was not there. Still the 36 crore nett apprx of Mardaani should still be beaten which is a decent result.

Jumanji - The Next Level saw a drop in collections on Monday as it collected in the 2.50 crore nett. The drop for the film is in the region of 50% and on Monday the numbers have gone below Mardaani 2 which does not give much hope for business post the first week. the film has now chance to repeat the success of Jumanji - Welcome To The Jungle
