Pushpa 2 (Hindi) smashed records on the first day as it collects around 65 crore nett which will edge it past the opening day numbers of Jawan (Hindi). Even though the circuits figures coming in are far higher for Pushpa 2 the eventual gap will be minimal as in South India is a limited contribution for Pushpa 2 in Hindi.

The circuits across the Hindi belts are seeing carnage as the film goes on a rampage as it sets new highs beating whichever film is on top be it Jawan, KGF 2 or Stree 2. Only East Punjab is a short of a record which is help by KGF 2. Even the national chains will cross 25 crore nett which is short of Jawan but still a huge number. 

The numbers simply look crazy as Mumbai is going over 20 crore nett. CP Berar may well see the 4 crore nett bennchmark crossed for the time. A small circuit like Odisha will be around 2 crore nett in Hindi alone with the Telugu version playing alongside it. Delhi / UP crucially also looks an ALL TIME RECORD and the number will be known in the morning.

The fair value numbers of the film are 75 crore nett if this was an original Hindi film. This is where the Hindi box office stands today on an opening day when there is the right big budget raw and rustic film aimed at the Hindi belts. it does not matter much if ist a national holiday or Thursday release. If the craze is there then there is nothing to stop the collections be it holiday or non holiday. The all India numbers of the film in all versions are looking to be over 150 crore nett.
