The much awaited Pushpa 2 has seen its advances open various cinemas across the country and the response is mindblowing. This was expected but you always need the confirmation and that only comes with sales. The way this has started it could well challenge Bahubali - The Conclusion in terms of tickets sold. Other films have gone ahead in terms of collections and that is a cert for Pushpa 2 as well.

The non nationals like Moviemax and Rajhans are off to a flyer and these can almost be called now that they will set records in advance. The film has started with a crazy momentum which has not been seen by any film post pandemic especially outside the national chains. The national chains have these block bookings which push advances very high within hours of opening so here it may not look as big as some though organically it will be. These booking are less or sometimes nothing in the non nationals and they give a better picture.

The momentum will continue through the week reaching a crescendo on the final day which most likely will see the film putting up a record advance. The comparion for day one will be KGF 2 which collected 52 crore nett. This may not be the biggest opener in Hindi but it becomes the best comparison as release structure is same with lesser collections in the South.

The KGF 2 number is almost certain to be broken as it sets new highs in all circuits. East Punjab (KGF2) and West bengal (Jawan) will be the toughest nuts to crack but if any film can set a record in each and every single circuit then it is Pushpa 2. If this is done then then it could actually be challenging the first day record record of Jawan. In hindi belts it is going to milles ahead of Jawan but Jawan had a huge contribution from South which Pushpa 2 will not have.
