Drishyam 2 continued its fantastic run at the box office and is looking at collections in the 17-17.25 crore nett which will give the film an excellent second weekend of over 38 crore nett. The final collections may well be a record for second weekend post pandemic for original Hindi films not counting The Kashmir Files. The finla numebrs in the morning could come out ahead of Brahmastra second weekend. The Sunday is higher for sure.

The total of the film will be 141 crore nett plus after its second weekend and the way the film is trending it is cruising to the 200 crore nett plus and it looks like a question of how more than 200 crore nett. the Gujarat / Saurashtra belt has run riot on Saturday and Sunday and when theta happens at the box office today there is no stopping the film.

Bhediya showed good growth in mass pockets on Sunday but these places had to jump 50% plus due to low numbers on the first two days and this is always possible in Sunday in mass circuits but Bhediya growth is more like 25-30% which is good but not good enough.

The overall growth for the film will be 15-20% as the metros and mini metros where the film is better have limited growth on Sunday which is the norm. The collections of the film are in the 10.75-11 crore nett range on Sunday which takes the film to a 27 crore nett weekend.
