Vikram Vedha will collect around 5.50 crore nett on Monday which will be a drop of around 45% which is under 50% and not too bad but the film had to do better as the weekend numbers were low for a big film like this. The four day numbers of the film are around 43 crore nett.

The drop does give the film of a decent run in the long run but it really needed to be a 30% drop for a good run post the weekend. The Monday business does give the film some chance of getting some benefit over the Dussehra period. the collections tomorrow have a chance of being better also as evening should do better due to the holiday on Wednesday.

The target for the film is now probably to get to around 100 crore nett although that wont be good it would mean a fair trend trend after a 37.50 crore nett weekend.  It is probably a difficult task to 100 crore nett but it has an open run till Diwali and collections can keep on coming for a few weeks yet. The rejection of the film across Hindi mass circuits is the killer and its hard for an action film to survive without the support of these. The collections in the likes CPCI and Gujarat / Saurashtra are pretty awful,
