Brahmastra (Hindi) scored a very good second week of around 50 crore nett. The collections could have been higher but the cheap tickets on cinema day may have cost it around 1 crore nett as some of the weekday audience waited till Friday to watch the film. Still this 1 crore nett will be more than easily covered by the colelctions on Friday.

 

 

Brahmastra is the 19th film in Hindi to cross the 50 crore nett barrier in week two. This has taken the total of the film to 193 crore nett in two weeks and it will cross 200 crore nett on its third Friday. The film has dropped 65% in week two which is also pretty good. 

 

 

The film is sure to remain in cinemas for sometime yet due to the lack of releases and it remains to be seen what sort of boost the film gets from cinema day on Friday. The Hindi version looked on course for the 225 crore nett plus mark but now it could go higher as long as cinema day does not affect the longer run of the film..
