Jugjugg Jeeyo has done decent business on the first day of around 8.50 crore nett on the strength of business in the Delhi NCR belt and fair business in the other metros. The mass pockets have not performed and show low collections but that was always going to happen as it is an urban film. If these can perform better than expected then the opening day could be a little better but its a tough ask.

The film is being totally driven by the NCR belt which is recording good occupancy. The other metros are decent and if these could have done good business then the first day number could have pushed up closer to that Gangubai Kathiawadi opening of around 9.50 crore nett plus.

The opening day performance of the film cant be called good due to the performance in Hindi circuits but its a decent start and if the film can go on from here and hold well on Monday then it can do well. Basically it has a target audience of the major cities and if these take to it then it will be good enough as the film is not at the level of Gangubai Kathiawadi or Samrat Prithviraj which need to have a wider reach.

The big plus for the film is the opening in Overseas which is beating Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in places like UK and Gulf and possible even US / Canada. The $2 million weekend mark should be there and it remains to be seen if it can challenge the $2.7 million mark of Gangubai Kathiwadi which is the biggest weekend of 2022 for original Hindi content. A lot will depend on the trajectory in US / Canada.
