Thappad has collected a poor 3 crore nett on day one as per early estimates. These collections are better than Panga but lower than Chhapaak and Mardaani. Its basically doing best in Delhi NCR like last weeks Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan while other metros have not performed as well.

The growth will come on Saturday and the media will help here also whoc think its a classic but eventually the audience will come into play on Sunday and Monday. If the film can double on Saturday it would be a good result for the film but whether is goes on or not will depend on Monday.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has had a fair hold as it collected 1.75 crore nett on its seond Friday which means the film will collect over 10 crore nett in week two for sure. the film has managed to do decent business in Delhi NCR.

Bhoot collected 1 crore nett on its second Friday which is a low number but it could be enough to collect 30 crore nett but that is not much of a total especially with a holiday release.
