Marjaawaan had a decent second day as it grossed in the same range as the first day with collections of 6.50-7 crore nett. The film was always going to find it hard to grow as the bulk of the business came from mass centres and single screens which dont show improvement on Saturday.

There has not been much growth at the metro multiplexes but crucially the mass centres which had good collections on day one have also not dropped much which gives it a chance for good growth on Sunday. Overall its a decent hold for this type of film and gives it a chance to do well post the weekend. If the film had dropped 10-15% then it would have been an uphill task.

The two day collections of the film will be around 13.50 crore nett and it the weeeknd will easily go above 20 crore nett which will be a decent result for the film and then it will be the acid test on the weekdays.

Bala has shown a very good upturn on Saturday as the metro multiplexes had very good collections. tThe film will be up around 75% with business of 6.50 crore nett. This will take the film to nearly 80 crore nett and the film will cover the lifetime numbers of Luka Chuppi in just 11 days. Its turned out to be a like a clear weekend for the film as Marjaavaan is not really performing in the places where Bala is strong so there is no affect of competition for the film.
