Bala had a good hold on its second Friday as it collected 3.75 crore nett which has taken the total of the film to 73 crore nett. The hold is not as strong as a Chhicchore which is the top smaller film of the year nor is it as strong as Dream Girl as both these films were above 5 crore nett on the second Friday but not many of the smaller concept films are going to hold like these films did.

But the film is better than Luka Chuppi which is the third best film in this zone and Bala will probably cross the business of Luka Chuppi before the end of its second week. Bala should comfortably cross the 100 crore nett mark and if this sort of trend continues over the third week it will emerge a SUPER HIT film and the eighth biggest HIT of the year after Kabir Singh, War, Uri - The Surgical Strike, Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Chhichhore and Dream Girl.
