Nikka Zaildaar 3 did well on day one as it collected 1.30 crore nett across India which is the second best opening for Punjabi films in 2019. The collections werea little better than Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass which was the best of the Hindi releases at a little under 1.25 crore nett.

Its not a huge opening day as its well short of Shadaa which went over 2.25 crore nett but it has comfortably beaten films like Muklawa and Ardaas Karan. The four big centres in Punjab recorded good collections with Chandigarh at 20.37 lakhs, Ludhiana at 11.54 lakhs, Jalandhar at 8.42 lakhs and Amritsar at 8.37 lakhs. the collections in Delhi / UP were around 12 lakhs nett. Nikka Zaildaar 2 still has to show growth over the weekend to come out with good weekend numbers, the Sunday number will be crucial and if it can top 2 crore nett then the film should become a HIT. The top openings for Punjabi films in 2019 are as follows.
