Super 30 had a fair opening of around 20-25% which is decent for a film like this but not for a film which has a star like Hrithik Roshan coming after two years.. The problem was that the film hardly offered anything for the youth so the morning crowd was going to be limited. The opening is better than the last film of Hrithik Roshan Kaabil but tah film had a clash with Raees which outscored Kaabil by huge margins.

The film is based on a mathematician from Bihar but that market has not opened well and it seems the film will be depending on collections mainly from the big metros as Super 30 may have a small town feel but the opening is far better in the metros with B and C centers not opening well.

The film should improve in the evenings and this should take the film comfortably into double digits for the day though if growth is limited in the evening then it might fall a few lakhs short. Irrespective of that the Saturday growth will come as its looking a metro film which should mean a decent weekend at least and then the acid test will come on Monday. The film could have had a washed out Sunday if India were in the cricket world cup final but that was not to be and the film will have a normal weekend now.
