Luka Chuppi has garnered a huge television audience on its premeire as it clocked 1.25 crore impressions. This is the third best of the year after Total Dhamaal and 2.0 (Hindi) and is better than Simmba which recorded 1.11 crore impressions. 

If we take the last two years then the premeire rating is the eighth best leaving films like Pad Man, Sanju, Raid and Uri - The Surgical Strike behind it. There were films lat year which got huge premieres but did not quite follow through like Dhadak and Stree and it remains to see how this one goes. Bahubali - The Conclusion dominates the television scenario with the next best being Tiger Zinda Hai, Golmaal Again, Judwaa 2  and Baaghi 2 in that order.

The  television premieres of above 50 lakhs in 2019 are as follows.

2. 2.0 (Hindi) - 1,65,13,00,000 (Zee)

3. Luka Chuppi  - 1,25,00,000 (Star) 

4. Simmba - 1,11,02,00,000 (Zee)

5. Race 3 - 70,85,000 (Zee)

6. Uri - The Surgical - 61,37,000 (Zee)
