De De Pyaar De had excellent growth on its second day of around 50% which is more than any major release this year including Uri - The Surgical Strike. there may have been some smaller films which had more growth but that is always possible with restricted releases.

The day two collections should ensure that the film will run in the multiplexes and A centres which should be enough for the film. The B and C centres and single screens hardly ever go the rom come genre especially overseas set so the non performance there will not make much difference to the final picture.

The growth has come across the board with some places growing 60-65% while mass dominated places like Bihar and CP Berar were less but nevertheless were still up due to the handfull of big multiplexes in these circuits showing good growth.

The weekend business will be AVERAGE at around 37-38 crore nett but the film can hold well in the weekdays to end the first week with a good number. But the elections could affect the collections on Sunday. The business of De De Pyaar De till date is as follows.

Thursday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Friday - 8,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 12,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 22,00,00,000 apprx

There is Ramadan going on but that has probably not affected this film too much as its a big city and multiplex film. Raid released a year ago had finished with a weekend of 38.63 crore nett so this film will not be too far of it if we include the previews.
