Manje Bistre 2 which was a sequel to the BLOCKBUSTER Manje Bistre could not open well. There was an elementary mistake of taking the film Overseas which makes it less relatable but still it was shocking for a sequel of a much loved film to be open this low.

 

 

The film could not even make the top twenty openers in Punjabi cinema (GROSS BOX OFFICE) and it puts the film is a poor position. The reports seen decent but the film will be less relatable for the audience in Punjab from the first film and where do you go from this low start. At worst it should have been in top ten opening days of Punjabi cinema and but it failed to get into the top twenty.
