Gully Boy had a good extended weekend as it collected 71.25 crore nett apprx in the first four days. The film opened well on Thursday which was Valentines Day and then recovered well on Saturday and Sunday after the drop on Friday. The business of the film is lop sided with a huge contribution from the metros especially Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune and Bangalore. Kolkata is very good and so is Hyderabad (this one is not taken as metro like the other five in terms of business but here with the main leads playing Muslim characters its a huge plus for the Hindi film audience in the city).

The cities outside the metros are not so good but if these cities have a big multiplex or two then the collections are pretty decent like a Chandigarh, Nagpur, Ahmedabad or Baroda. The Sunday growth did not come as the film is not for families especially in mass centers and these tend to grow most on Sunday.

The youth should continue to drive this film in the metros in the weekdays and this should enable good holds. The mass centres are low anyway so they may just remain steady on low collections through the first week. The first four day collections of Gully Boy are as follows.
