Dhadak had its first noticeable drop on Wednesday as it grossed in the 3.75-4 crore nett range which has taken its six day business to 47 crore nett. The drop is a big 15% from the previous day. The first week is now looking to be around 50.50 crore nett for the first week.

The drop has probably come due to the limited acceptance by the family audiences and films without support of families do tend to run out of steam at some point. But with Dhadak the job is done even with this drop as the first week will cross 50 crore nett and then unless its a miraculous crash on day eight which should not really happen it is easily a HIT film. .

The film has not fared well in Delhi city and East Punjab and that could also be the reason for slowing collections as these places tend to hold up the best after the first few days.

The business in East Punjab is almost 40% less than Veere Di wedding which did around 54 crore nett all India in week one against the 50 crore nett plus of Dhadak. The all india business is just 8% less than Veere Di Wedding.
