Race 3 has taken a huge opening Overseas thanks to the bumper numbers in Gulf where it has taken a start like very films have. Eid was on Friday in many Overseas markets and this really pushed the collections. Padmavat had set a record for an Overseas opening earlier this year with around $10.50 and Race 3 can challenge that especially if Gulf keeps on going at this rate.
The film has clocked a huge $3.5 million on Friday which includes some collections from Thursday as although Thursday was not a regular first day in Gulf but it started being screened in the evening. This is without Pakistan so on fair value it could be the biggest opening in Overseas although it is lopsided with Gulf recording unbelievable numbers.
It remains to be seen how it keeps pace over the weekend but chances are there to be one of the biggest openings overseas if not the biggest.

The apprx collections from the major Overseas markets are as follows. All figures in US $
United Kingdom - $325,000
US / Canada - $550,000
Gulf - $1,750,000
Australia - $150,000
The film has under performed in Australia and is good in US / Canada and UK but simply phenomenal in Gulf which has taken it to this level.
The film was released on nearly 1500 screens Overseas
