Q. There are reports that Bodyguard is over budget and there is now cost cutting going on with songs and scenes being shot indoors which earlier were to be shot overseas?
A. Its not cost cutting, its just the film is facing a race against time to release by August end so to save time a song or two which were to be shot overseas have been shot in India

Q. Why do producers spend so much like 60-70 crore on films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which have limited appeal and these sums so hard to recover?
A. 90% of makers budget a film so that Above Average to Hit business sees them safe. The problem is with investors who make a judgement on the value of a film. With Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara the production budget is around 45-50 crore but investors believe the film can do super hit business so paid a super hit price of 60 crore. Other investors may have offered less but makers will take highest price so they make good money without having to rely on the results at the box office.

A. Its scheduled for 11th November at the moment.
