Srikanth did well on Saturday as collections rose to 4 crore nett which is a solid jump of 75% and not only the jump but 4 crore nett is a good collection for this film. The film stands at 6.25 crore nett after two days and its a comfortable double digit number for the weekend.
The film is dependent on what happens post the weekend but this sort of Saturday jump is a good sign for the film. Also there will be elections on Monday in various parts of the country which normally works out well as its becomes a sort of holiday in the region where the public goes to the polls.
The numbers are pretty much respectable all over with even the likes of CPCI doing decent enough numbers for a film like this which does not have much for the wider audience. The collections of Srikanth are as follows.
Friday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Kingdom Of The Planet Of the Apes also had growth of around 30% though it wa smuch more in the likes of Mumbaia nd Delhi / UP. The film put up a good number in Nizam / Andhra on day one which accounted for almost 25% of the all India business and this sector has not grown. The film has 7 crore nett over the first two days. The collections of Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes are as follows.
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 7,00,00,000 apprx
