There were many releases this week with Maheruh, Qarib Qarib Single, Safe, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and The House Next Door and as expected none have opened well with Qarib Qarib Single and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana leading the race.

It will be between these two films and Qarib Qarib Single is likley to win as its opening is double of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana at around 8-10%. Both films seem of a similar genre and are aimed at the same markets.

Qarib Qarib Single can get some sort of platform for Saturday if it shows some evening growth. The 50% plus growth will have to come Saturday but that is easily possible nowadays even with average content. Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana has to make a lot of headway today while the others are not really in the race.

Ittefaq has dropped on day eight and its likely that Golmaal Again could have better collections despite being in its fourth week. If the Friday falls short it could still do more over the weekend or week.
