Bhoomi had a poor first week as it grossed 10 crore nett in its first week. The film has faced rejection all over and will not add much business in the second week. The film was set in UP snd even the collections in UP are very dull be it multiplexes or single screens.  

Haseena Parkar was even worse than Bhoomi with business of 6.50 crore nett and most of it came from Mumbai circuit. The film fared worst than another underworld film Daddy released a few weeks back. It will probably close at around 7 crore nett.

Newton survived as it trended well over the week after a low start. The film collected 11.75 crore nett in the first week which is also low but this film has a chance to get to a decent total as second week should do healthy business. There is a holiday period so it will be no surprise if it can get near the first week business as the footfalls are not much till date and high end multiplexes can continue to get footfalls, not just in week two but after that also.

The holdover films Simran and Lucknow Central fared poorly. Simran grossed around 2 crore nett in its second week to take its total to 15.75 crore nett while Lucknow Central grossed around 1 crore nett to take its two week total to 11.50 crore nett.
