Munna Micheal has had a dull first day with collections likely to be around 5.50 crore nett. It may go a little higher if some markets in Mumbai and South come out a little higher. The figures generally are along the expected lines barring Mumbai circuit which should have done better considering the type of film its is. The business is best in the Mumbai / Maharashtra belt but not as high it should be. The North is poor but it would have been a huge surprise if the film collected there and put up a good decent first day total.  The problem with the film will be growth as this first day figure has come on close to 3000 screens and it will be a huge struggle for growth. Even 20% growth will be a good result for this film after what has happened on day one.

Lipstick Under The Burkha picked up a little in the evening and has had a reasonable first day especially if it grows on Saturday which is possible as its aimed at the metro multiplexes. The film should be around 90 lakhs nett on day one but is only a 6 crore including PA film so if it gets a 4-5 crore nett weekend then its a decent result.

Dunkirk released in only English is also decent with around 3.50 crore nett. This film also has good potential over the weekend.
