Its been a good weekend with around 50 crore nett coming from the new releases this weekend. A big film like Tubelight had managed a little over 60 crore nett (Screens 4400 apprx) and when two big films Raees and Kaabil clashed it was 80 crore nett (Screens 6000 apprx) so in that context when a Spiderman, Mom and Guest In London take in 50 crore nett apprx (Screens 4000 apprx) it is a very good result. Mom and Guest Iin London are not exactly the films that people running to theatres and Spiderman is not the brand it was probably a few years ago as it opened to far lower occupancy that the previous films.  The weekend collections of the three films released this week are as follows.

Mom - 14,25,00,000

Guest Iin London - 5,00,00,000

Spiderman: Homecoming - 30,50,00,000

TOTAL - 49,75,00,000

This gives hope to the big films coming over the next few weeks as the audience is there and its just about the films having enough in them to bring that audience to the theatres.
