Tubelight continued to drop on day eight with collections in the 2-2.25 crore nett range The film has grossed 105 crore nett apprx so far and the second weekend may do around 9 crore but that is if it gets normal weekend growth on Saturday and Sunday. The film is coming off a holiday period and then it is not know how GST is going to play out so there is a good chance the growth may not be normal and the film struggles to get 9 crore nett over the weekend. The film will probably end up being the second highest grosser of the first half after Raees  if we count only outright Hindi films. Its a sad scenario that the two biggest films of the first half will both finish in that 120-130 crore nett range. The  daily collections of Tubelight till date are as follows.
