Fast & Furious 8 had a good hold on Monday as it grossed 5 crore nett which is a 55% drop from Friday but that was a holiday and on top the film has had an extended run which makes it a solid Monday. The real value drop is probably around 45%. The film now stands at around 52.50 crore nett and the week should be able to cross the 65 crore nett, This will be lower than Fast & Furious 7 which was around 69 crore nett.

The film has done very well with the only problem being that it is unlikely the franchise is going to improve on the last one. The film did not release on E digital theatres like the last one and this could be one of the reasons that the film will stay below Fast & Furious 7. The collections of Fast & Furious 8 till date are as follows.

Note - The film has been released as Fast & Furious 8 in India that why it is being reported with that title despite it being called Fate Of the Furious outside India. The title is probably there in India to make sure the franchise factor is noticed by the audience.
