Begum Jaan sealed its fate on the second day itself as the collections dropped from a low start in the first place. The film was released on a holiday and had to put up some sort of number but failed to do so and then the poor reports came into play. The film grossed in the 3.25 crore nett on its second day after a 3.50 crore nett day one (holiday) but if we take the real value of day one at 2.75 crore nett it is not even 20% growth and a content film can't survive with that sort of growth. It will just about get over a 10 crore nett weekend. The film has done slightly better in North possibly due to border setting but that hardly matters. The business of Begum Jaan on the first two days is as follows.
Friday - 3,50,00,000
Saturday - 3,25,00,000
TOTAL - 6,75,00,000
Fast & Furious 8 maintained good business on Saturday. The collections did drop but it was coming off a holiday and they are still higher than its first full day. The film is a HIT and now it remains to be seen if it can reach the four day weekend and lifetime figures of Fast & Furious 7. The business in the hindi version suggests it will be tough but Monday will tell. The collections of Fast & Furious 8 till date are as follows.
Wednesday (Paid Previews) - 5,50,00,000
Thursday - 9,25,00,000
Friday - 11,25,00,000
Saturday - 10,00,00,000
TOTAL - 36,00,00,000 apprx
