The Ghazi Attack (Hindi) had low business in its first weekend of around 6.75 crore nett though the trend was fair. it probably should have grown more on Saturday but Sunday growth was decent at around 35%. The film has also released in Telugu and Tamil and while the Tamil version is poor the Telugu version has returned figures in the range of the Hindi version. That probably means the Hindi version has fared best as it probably had more face value for Nizam / Andhra than the Mumbai, Delhi and Punjab's. If Monday business can be in the same range as day one or even better then the film could have a decent little run.

The weekend business of the new films released this week is as follows.

The Ghazi Attack - 6.75 cr apprx

Irada - 55 lakhs apprx

Running Shaadi - 60 lakhs apprx

Both Irada and Running Shaadi are disasters with very dull weekend. Running Shaadi is better in the North than Irada while its the opposite in Mumbai. Not that it makes much difference but the weekend business of Running Shaadi is probably what it should have done on day one.
