Dangal (Hindi) scored a huge second week as it smashed all second week records with business 110.50 crore nett in week two. The Thursday business was rock steady as it was a holiday in the North for Guru Gobind Singhji Jayanti. This has taken the total for the film to 303 crore nett making it the highest NETT grosser of the year. The GROSS numbers are still behind Sultan but will surpass today. The drop week on week is 43% which is just phenomenal in this day and age and on top at this high level collections. Its one think dropping 30% or 40% when you are collecting 20 or 30 crore nett in week one as you are hardly consuming the audience so the chances of holding are more. Here the film has had this sort of hold coming off a near a 200 crore nett first week.hardly anyone is watching those films so there is a chance. The first lifetime all time record has also come for the film in East Punjab with nett business of 37 crore nett easily beating PK (33.44 cr) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (32.93 crore) in just two weeks. The film has been tax free in Haryana since day five and that has helped but even in GROSS collections it is ahead with 45.75 crore while PK is 42.80 crore and Bajrangi Bhaijaan is 42.10 crore.

The film will set many more lifetime all time records over the weekend with some likely to be hit on the third Friday itself.
