The week will be probably turn out to be the worst of the year with very low collections. There have been many new releases like 31st October, Ek Tera Saath, Gandhigiri, Love Day, Mmrisa, My Father Iqbal among others but there are hardly any collections. Holdover releases like M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story, Motu Patlu; King of Kings and even Inferno are recording better collections. The week is one of the worst of the year and that is reflected by very low occupancy all over. the problem for the new releases is that even if one manages respectable figures like the animation film last week there is no second week here as the Diwali releases will take up practically all the screens.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay are awaited but even they will get going on Monday as that is when the audiences will return to the theatres. The first weekend for these films is the peak for Diwali festivities and many circuits across India struggle to collect until the day after Diwali. .

Despite both films being big films it will be the Mon-Wed period which will decide their fate because the weekend will not give big collections with films relying on the reports over the weekend to benefit from the holiday period on the weekdays.
