Race 2 is looking to be on course to be the first 100 crore film of the year as it records steady collections in the second week. Last week the film had dropping collections on the weekdays and a 20 crore second week looked a tough ask but the film has been rock steady since its second Friday. The weekdays in the second week are also very steady.

The film is likely to gross 20-21 crore nett in week two which will take the film to 90-91 crore nett and then the third week becomes the key. There are new releases this week (Special Chabbis and ABCD) but none of them are your bumper openers which just totally wipe out the business of the films playing.

One of the new releases having appreciation and a upward trend at the box office may affect Race 2 on Saturday and Sunday.
