Taur Mittran Di (Punjabi) had a mediocre opening of 22 lakhs.  The film did average at the premium multiplexes but was below the mark elsewhere. It would have been a good opening a year back but the growth in business means that anything less than 30 lakhs for a major release is disappointing. The top Punjabi film openings of all time are as follows.
