Housefull 3 had decent Monday dropping just a little under 50%. The collections on Monday will be around 7.75-8 crore nett which will take the four day business of the film to over 60 crore nett. The film dropped in places like Nizam / Andhra and Mysore but Delhi /UP and Gujarat were steady.
This film has performed very well in Mumbai thanks to the Gujarat / Saurashtra belt and the Mumbai collections in four days have hit the 20 crore nett mark. The film had a very good Sunday but with business lopsided to multiplexes the ticket pricing factor comes into play on Monday as a huge ratio of business is coming from multiplexes where ticket rates are dropped and this is not a content film which did limited business over the weekend.
The first week business will be good and should be around 78-79 crore nett if it shows normal 10-15% falls over the next three days. The record for Akshay Kumar starrers is 79.50 crore nett of Airlift but that got advantage of a huge Republic Day holiday over the weekdays.
