Bajirao Mastani got benefit of the Christmas holiday as it showed growth of 20% from the previous day and the business of the film will be in the 12.50 crore nett range. The collections on day eight will be in the same range as collections on day one due to the holiday. The total is also in the same range as the Bajrangi Bhaijaan day eight figures but it was not a holiday for that film. The 12.75 crore nett by Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the highest day eight total this year and Bajirao Mastani can challenge it when final numbers come in the morning.

Dilwale was flat as it grossed 7.50 crore nett on its eighth day which is slightly lower than yesterday. Dilwale also got benefit of the holiday but that was cancelled out by the loss of screens at multiplexes. The figure is pretty decent as the fall could have been huge as there was a heavy loss of screen time at most major multiplex chains.
